Tommy is really knowledgeable, professional, and has great communication skills and an easy going manner. He is the best service advisor I have had at Honda in a long time.

Looking for value wherever I take my car. I go in for maintenance check up and I get quoted $500 but I opted for the req'd service only. Although I was told I was given some discounts, it was still over $200. And the whole interaction seemed transactional. I only come here because it's close to home but I may consider shopping for valuable service elsewhere.

It’s been a week. I’m still looking for a reason to love Honda of Oakland Service. You have only one thing in your corner- location.
My experience: The service intake 7:45AM: I had to wait upon delivery with other cars coming in and being greeted ahead of me… a mild annoyance. The interaction with Chris A was very transactional. I covered what service items I needed and agreed to a (buy up) preventative advanced 100k mile service. The courtesy ride home was the highlight of my Handa of Oakland Service day!
The SMS updates were absent of relevant, timely or believable content.
The delivery commitment was off by 75 minutes (hopefully 5pm and I was rushed out at 6:15). Ubering over, arriving for pickup just after 5:00, I checked in at the service desk and patiently waited. And, waited. Time running late, I missed a personal commitment because the completion ran late. The staff patiently waited, and after 6:00 I thought I heard them comment that they were now working overtime ….
Services: Per my invoice I was charged for services that were not performed. PERFORM CLEAR VIEW WINDSHIELD CLEANING & PROTECTION COATING SERVICE. Upon departure, my front window exhibited the morning quick wash I applied that morning. Plain evidence that nothing had been done to the windshield.
The car was left all a tumble - passenger seat folded over and fully forward. Mirrors set at an unusable angle. Clock was off (shouldn’t be a big deal but given everything else.)
And finally, my next day call to my service representative (Chris) regarding the missing window service resulted in an offer for me to take more time out of my busy day to accommodate your team completing the service. Yet, the Oakland Honda staff had 9 hours to complete and it was my problem? Maybe the offer should have been to come to me to accommodate your oversight?
Finally, all of this brings me to the conclusion: How do I trust the other itemized 100K service items were completed?
Please don’t waste my time with a service manager calling me to address this less than acceptable service. If Oakland Honda Service determines a follow up call is warranted, it better come from the head of the dealership making the call.
No call from management, I will find other service options and, regretfully make this response visible on public online ratings - google and yelp.
