Yesterday was my last day of my two year service package I bought with my car. I’ve had every service in those two years at South Coast. At every service I have had to wait at least 20 minutes extra after handing someone my orange ticket to retrieve my car. The last two times I finally just walked over and asked to have my keys so I could go get my car myself. I think I would much rather go get my car always after it’s been serviced, then wait an additional 20 minutes for someone to pull my car up.

This was a terrible experience. I called and made an appointment @130 with Ana. When I arrived Ana was on lunch which was fine but the young man that helped me left me in my car for about 10 min before someone else came to assist me. When I went into the office I told them I had a discount offer that I received via email. They told me they would apply it at checkout. When I came back to pick up my 4Runner they didn’t honor the discount and said they could only do 15 dollars off. This was very frustrating because Ana said they would approve it on the phone. The gentleman that helped me in his office said they would apply it at check out, and then they didn’t. It was a very long day and I didn’t feel like arguing with them over 25 dollars so I left to pick up my car. They took another 10 min to bring the car around to the front and it was still soaking wet from the “wash” which was more like a hose down. Very disappointed with the service and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I arrive 10 minutes prior to my appointment time of 12 o’clock. While talking to the service manager, I was told that it would be approximately a two hour wait to get my additional key to me. I called the sales team that sold me my car and they were very helpful in getting my time moved up. However, if you go to the trouble to make an appointment, that appointment time should be honored. Overall, however, I am pleased with my overall experience at South Coast Toyota.

I was flattered that he recognized me from my last visit. Rich is kind and explained what they were doing to do with my car. His smile in welcoming and each time I have seen him he’s been happy which makes the encounter a relaxing time.
