Came in to get a left side Headlight that cost no more than $30 dollars and was charged an unbelievable amount of $140 plus. I also had them put on new wipers that have been done many times at "no charge" in the past after purchasing them in the parts department. A total rip off!
I was treading bringing my car in for service. The reviews online are terrible at HB Toyota where I bought the car. South Coast Toyota wasn’t much better in reviews. I took a chance and Wow. Pleasantly surprised the service was outstanding! Everyone looking to help and super nice. Thank you service department!

On an earlier visit for an oil change, I found both the filter housing and oil drain plug over torqued. I needed a longer cheeter bar to break both loose. “Tight is tight, to tight is broken”!
As for my visit yesterday, I made an appointment for 11:00 AM. I had my truck there shortly before 11:00 am. I was told my oil change would take 90 minutes or less. I had to wait 2 1/2 hours. If my truck made it on the lift just before the lubi took his lunch break, I shouldn’t have been told that it would be done in 90 minutes!
South coast Toyota has lost my trust.

The service was fine, except that I was told that I needed a new battery and it failed the battery test. When I took it to the shop I bought the battery, they said the health and charge of the battery was 100%
I am having a very hard time with the cost of my service. It suddenly feels like I have been had.
I bought the dash cam with the vehicle. The dash cam was not available at purchase. I was told Toyota would call me when the part arrived. I never got a call. I took my car in for its first service. I asked about the dash cam and they said they would get it installed. When I picked up the vehicle, it was not installed. I waited around to talk to a consultant for 15 minutes without any help. I called to schedule a new appointment. The prerecorded appointment times didn’t work. The recording said it sent me a text message with more appointment times. I never got the text message. I just want the dash cam installed….

Ana rocks!! She was pulled from her daily tasks to help me out, and stepped up to the task at hand and figured out the problem with my car, before it was even went into the service bay. That alone saved not only me, but the service team and the shuttle driver so much time, by not having me have to drive home. Her trouble shooting was top notch and she is always friendly and professional!
Just like Jason V., she stands heads above the rest as far as best of the best in Customer Service!
The person who gave me my car left the lock box on my window. Lucky for me, my key was in the middle cupholders . Shortly after driving home I found a small water bottle , empty , but with cigarette butts. I do not smoke nor does anyone in my house. I’m the only driver of my car. Service took a lot longer than usual but was okay.
