I love my Camry & I like Heart City very much.
It took an hour and 25 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation. Told it would be an hour. Ask to have speedometer checked because it is 2 mile per hour slow and he said it was in specs. You mean you can’t have it be actual speed with all the technology out there. Said there was a 5-6 hour recall update and told him I live an hour away, no loaner car. I could have bought in my town but decided to use heart city because I used it several years ago when there wasn’t a dealer in town.
I was quite dumbfounded to be called and asked to approve a $3700.00 estimate for the repairs of an engine oil leak on my 4 Runner that is under a full factory warranty. I questioned why would i need to approve a warranty repair? Was told she had no way of verifying the vehicle warranty & that i would have to dig up paperwork to prove it. I bought this vehicle from your dealership, you have the vehicle with a VIN number on it. The estimate had the VIN number on it.What more does she need? I had to hang up & call back and talk to Bernie to get the issue resolved.
Ricky was great, however Bernie on the other hand was very condescending when I questioned my bill. I am not 2 and don't expect to be talked to like I am. I will NOT be back to your dealership for any service,purchase,warranty or recall work.
I will also recommend anyone that asks not go to your dealership.

I felt the service advisor was hostile in general. He took offense when I had an opinion and put me 'on hold' for twenty minutes because HE WANTED ME TO TALK TO THE SERVICE MANAGER. I called the Service Manager when it was overly apparent he intended me to get frustrated and hang up. Further, he offered zero evidence for the "bad gas" diagnosis. I had the Indiana Dept of Weights and Measures test the gas station- their fuel was fine. His evidence consisted of the introduction of ether causing the engine to fire. An over simplification at best as it utterly omits the role of the engine control system. Then, mass airflow sensor was replaced... hmmm, may have had something to do with the failure you think? On top of that, they missed a damaged air filter (I'll be happy to share pictures, I checked it in the parking lot if the dealership after they were 'done' and the bill was paid. How do you replace the mass airflow sensor and not noticed a hole in the breather filter- clearly no inspection of the general are of MY REPORTED FAILURE MODE was evaluated. In my opinion, the dealership owes me a tank of gas, possibly the cost of repair, and an apology. Hostile, judgemental, careless. Not up to Toyota standards
