Tech said vehicle needed to have modules updated. The update was started without discussing with me first. I had a place to be at 3:45 and service advisor notified me what was needed and it was in progress which could take 1 - 2 hours to complete. She did suggest that they stop the update...but knowing enough about some updates I was concerned it would be a larger problem. I finally had my truck back about 5:00. Solution would be to advise customer before starting module update.
The labor charge for a repair that took less than 45 minutes was extremely high. I will be taking both my vehicles to another place for routine repairs and maintenance in the future.
