The mechanic broke the clasp on the air filter box and all but broke the snaps to get into the cabin air filter. He also put the cabin air filter back in the exact state he took it out which was full of leaves and little seed pods. All he would have had to done was tap it a few times over the trash can and knocked the debris off but apparently that would have been too hard. It is a good thing I did not pay for anything but the inspection.

The team inside were efficient, but my service took over an hour, and my truck was brought back to me dirtier than it went in. I was told the reason for it taking so long was because it was getting washed. When I got my keys, I noticed it was not washed. I informed Christian, and he jumped right up to wash it. I have not received anything via the website showing the work was completed. I'm not sure why it took so long or why I never received the online information. Again, the inside team did great with getting me checked in.

I brought my vehicle in with my own part and understood completely that if the part did not fix the problem that I would have to figure something out. That being said I received a quote for the repair which was why I chose this location, all the way in Buckhannon, to do the repair. About 30 minutes after dropping the truck off I got a voicemail and text explaining the quote given to me was a mistake and an additional $220 was required for the repair. Without many options I agreed just because I travel a lot and have little time to take care of these things. Later on I receive a text letting me know that the truck is done and ready for pickup. I called and confirmed and headed to the dealership to get my truck. When I arrived to get my truck all was good, I paid and the worker I dealt with was very nice. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was still not fixed. This is fine and I get it, it was my parts and I didn't have a diagnosis. The problem I have is that I received texts and voicemails with updates even spoke to someone on the phone, I picked up my truck and paid but not one person mentioned that the part did not fix the problem. If someone would have let me know that it didn't fix the truck I would have agreed to have a diagnosis so that I could set up whatever else was necessary to fix my truck. Instead everything seemed fine, not one person mentioned the problem was not solved. So I was under the impression the part fixed it, instead I get into the truck and hot air is all I got. I understand that without diagnosis I was taking a risk but if it were me in that situation it seems like good business and customer service to let the customer know the problem was not fixed. Not go through a quote change that added a significant amount, several updates as to the vehicle being ready, and then picking the truck up without one person letting me know I still have no AC. I was told the mechanic was a master mechanic and that is great but the communication skills at this place were horrible and now I have to make time again to figure out how to move forward with getting my truck fixed. I was told they don't just assume to diagnose the vehicle, because of extra cost, which is smart for them and the customer. But to me, good customer service would have at least, after several opportunities on the phone and through text to figure out payment and how to proceed and even in person not one person asked. Everyone there was nice and respectful, I am just upset because I would have expected someone to tell me without having to find out for myself that the problem was still there. There was no problem reaching out to address the additional costs needed due to a mistake with the wrong amount being quoted, but for some reason they couldn't reach out to ask If I wanted them to look into what they thought may be the problem. Now I have to schedule another weekend day for diagnosis and probably another date for repair. Hopefully next time the air will work and if not someone will LET ME KNOW before I go to drive away.
