Service dept recommend to bring the car in for a warranty on a failed spark plug that was replaced by your technician. Spark plug was replaced less than 10k miles. I was told it was not covered and the vehicle need extensive diagnostic and requires $$$ just for diagnostic not including repair. I opted out to replace the faulty plug only and I was billed for the entire 8 plugs plus labor. I did not realize this bill until I got home. The vehicle still didn’t work after the plugs were replaced. So instead of having bmw bill me for more work I took the vehicle to an independent shop and they replaced the single faulty ignition coil and got the car running. It cost me less than $200 to get this done. I will never bring my vehicle again to your dealership for any maintenance or repair. I lost confidence and trust.
