i came in for a thermostat connector to get replaced after just getting my thermostat replaced a month prior. I was told it would only take an hour and a half maybe 2 hours max. My appointment was for 8am and I didn’t leave until 12. I was told at 10:45 that it was being taken for a test drive and I should be done soon. Almost an hour later I was told I was ready to go. At no point was I told it would take longer than expected. I was okay with waiting 2 hours max had I known it was going to be 4 hours I would’ve gotten the shuttle back or asked for a car. I had other plans that had to be canceled since I was misinformed how long it would take for my vehicle to be done.

Still waiting to get the results of a general inspection of my Kia Soul
I was not happy with the communication provided. I went in for flat and recall service. I was promised my vehicle Monday,I stayed in the area since I’m driving from Chicago. Got a call stating it would be ready next day due to tire coming in until noon. Was told I would receive a call back but nothing. I received a text message later that day saying vehicle was ready for pick up but again no call to update me. I waited until the morning then received a message saying a recall part had just gotten there so I called to see why a mix of messages. I was told the part for recall had just gotten there and was told it would be ready by end of day, again I did not get a call to update me at the end of day. We got to Thursday and I decided to call in the morning, no answer. Left a message, no call back. Decided to call again, was told my truck had been ready since the day before. I finally received my truck and it had an area that looked like a scratch. I told the person who took care of me and he offered a car wash since he said it was just dirt. Luckily it was, but I was just shocked that I would even be presented with my truck looking like that. It spent 4 days there and it’s handed to me that way.
My first time at International Kia in Orland Park. I went in for an oil change which went fine. However, they never shared an all point inspection with me which other dealers have always done in the past. Otherwise, they were very accommodating since I didn’t have an appointment. I will definitely go back there and I’ll make sure to ask about the inspection.
I am happy that I could get in and be taken care of on the first call attempt that I made.

THIS KIA DEALERSHIP WAS VERY GOOD RESPONSE TO THE QUESTION OF THAT I ASK AND LET ME KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND DIDN’T NEEDED AT THIS TIME.
I got there for a simple oil change at 10:00am they didn't complete the work til 2:00pm that is very disappointing to take 4 hours for that

I love my Kia Soul. If I had to buy another new car, it would be a Kia Soul. The car has everything I could want or need. It drives smooth and I feel safe!
The man who received me at express today was incredibly kind and understanding, and talked me through all of the things that were going to happen when I mentioned it was my first car, and first oil change. Because of his amazing service I will be making sure to return to Kia International for every service milestone.
