Overall, Erick did an excellent job. I was very happy with the Kia maintenance service, and he made the entire experience easy and stress-free.
Alejandro was awesome he made sure we are taking care of right away and I got everything I needed for service. He made sure to expedite our vehicle for oil change since we were waiting for it. we’ll definitely be going back for future service because of him.
Alex was friendly and professional. This was my first time there and despite being short staffed, he still took the time to make me feel welcomed. He was thorough in looking at the previous service record of my vehicle and informing me of what services would be upcoming. Alex is A+!

They were understaffed. I had to wait 3.5 hours for my car to be ready and when I got back in my car I noticed they didn’t reset the computer so it still looks like my car is -700 miles overdue for service. So now I don’t know if they even serviced my car. Looks like you charged me but never changed my oil. Shady. I’m pretty upset.

On Friday the 19th, I received a call from a receptionist named Jessica stating my 2025 Kia Soul had an urgent recall. Both my husband and I questioned this and were told it was confirmed in their system by her manager. I took time off work to come in, only to be told there was no recall at all. No apology or explanation was given. This was a serious failure to verify information and caused unnecessary inconvenience and lost time.

I am unsatisfied with the attention by the workers. I had asked for a shuttle to the mall and when I texted to inquire when I was going to be picked up in front of Macy where I was told I would be picked up nobody answered my messages. I called and called and no answer. I walked 1 hour and 30 mins back when I got there I decided to call to see why they were answering and I just saw how they were ignoring the calls. The worker did not even question how I got back. I spent about $480 at the dealership today just to be ignored. I didn’t even bother saying anything because I know nothing was going to be done about it. When my boyfriend checked my car the radiator cap was left open.
The service was very good. Kia kept me updated throughout all the service, and the video was great of the service. Thank you very much, Philip magazines.
Alejandro was by far one of the most pleasant service representatives I’ve ever worked with. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and kept me well informed throughout the repair process. He truly went above and beyond and deserves recognition—whether that’s a raise or a promotion. I will definitely recommend Kia of Covina to anyone looking for a new car or quality service.
