Upon arrival to your dealership. My service advisor Kyle Predmore advised me that other than a regular 6k mile oil interval/schedule maintenance, I should also perform two other services (brake fluid exchange for $189.99, and complete fuel service for $429.99). I found this very strange, since I have been leasing vehicles from different manufacturers for over 25 years, and I have never been asked to perform this services at such an early stage (only 24k miles),in fact I never have to do it at all. I declined the services, since I wanted to have more information before making a decision. I contacted Genesis general maintenance regarding this issue, abd their answer confirmed my suspicion. Genesis recommends to have both of those systems inspected (which your technician didn't do at 24K miles,and perform the services in case they were needed. Instead, your advisor try to sell me something that most likely my car does not need. I do not drive under extreme conditions,and my car only uses premium tear one fuel, so the probability of needing those services are pretty much none. Before you recommended such expensive services, you should first perform an evaluation (as the manufacturer recommends), instead of recommending a service that you dont even know if is needed.
I honestly lost any trust in your service department. If in the future I decide to continue servicing my car there, it will be only for the remaining oil changes/schedule maintenance recommended by the manufacturer till the end of my lease.
