Norm Reeves Cerritos was just trying to get me in and out on my service appointment Friday, July 11, 2025. I’ve gone to a different dealer for service one time, Cerritos is my home dealer where I got my car. Norm Reeves Cerritos is well aware of my history with them as they had my vehicle for almost 6 months waiting for parts back in 2024. Resulting in three loaners. When I was greeted Friday, I was actually a little excited and felt I would be taken care of. My service advisor heard and made note of my concerns and let me know that we can discuss what additional services would be required, recommended as well as which would be a higher priority. Less than 90 minutes after I dropped my car, it was ready. I’ve Never had service completed that fast whether coming early or later in the day. I was a little concerned wondering if everything was even done or done correctly. I was sent my multi point inspection and within that same minute was texted that my car was ready and to come pick it up. No discussion of what was found. No discussion of the concerns I brought to my advisor at check in. I’m normally used to being updated of my multi point and then we discuss what was found. I’m asked if I’d like to move forward with any additional services or if I’d want to come back later. None of this happened. I tried texting my advisor my questions with no response. I called the dealer I believe twice with no response. I received a text, not a call back “ Sorry we missed your call. How can I help you?” from Aiden. When my service advisor called me back he seemed over it. I asked if I’d need any additional service and he simply replied “well you don’t have to get any of this… it’s recommended”. After he told me this morning we can discuss which would be a higher priority to start with. He did address my brake concern but that was it. Just seemed like they wanted me in and out, don’t ask any questions. I was told my fluids should at least be topped off after my service too and they weren’t. My tire pressure was actually filled this time but not fluids. Just seems like Cerritos will do the bare minimum, nothing more or less. Kyle has always taken care of me although he’s not a service advisor but not sure if I’ll be back.

Fernando greeted me when I arrived and explained the intake process. He answered all my questions and had a very pleasant demeanor. It was evident that his goal was 100% customer service. I enjoyed the hot coffee and the work area provided while my car was serviced. Thank you!

I had called the dealer inquiring about a oil change but was told each each time (I've had 8 Hyundais) I had to wait till I had 8k miles. Juan was the 1st person who told me I only needed to wait one year. I've now scheduled my wife's car, 2 years owned with only 3k miles.

The service took much longer than was anticipated. It was stated it would take 1.5 to 2 hours and it took almost 3 hours to finish. They did not confirm my contact number to check if I would receive updates. My husband’s phone was getting the updates instead. The oil life notification was not reset after the service. I was waiting at Hyundai and they did not come tell me my car was done. I had to go inquire. Finally, my car was not washed. I was given a car wash ticket. I was expecting better service. This survey was sent to my husband, not me.

I have Bluetooth and USP connectivity issues. None was resolved because you couldn’t replicate it. Even more frustrating is the inability to permanently turn off Forward Safety. You can only turn it off after your first start the car. It will automatically come back on again when you turn the car off and then turn it back on again. The reason this is frustrating cause one time it came on and then ABS automatically engaged because the smart car thought it was gonna get into a collision, but I wasn’t and when the ABS came on it and locked my brakes and I almost got rear ended. NOT good. Definitely a safety hazard for me and I’m a professional driver. I’m going to take further action.
