The service team Justin Lingao tried to convince me to leave my car behind with them for transmission replacement, even though there was no conclusive evidence of any failure. They cited that there might be a transmission issue as per mechanic, however the mechanic just repeated what I had mentioned in the initial report. When I asked for concrete evidence, they said they don’t have it and tried to sell me to get the transmission replaced. Also the “factory” trained mechanic couldn’t find the squealing noise which is pretty loud from the wheels which just shows that there was no road testing done and they wanted me to just give car to them and agree for repair, so that they pocket transmission replacement money from the factory for this unnecessary repair. When I asked what other options I have, the standard answer was that you have nothing to lose as you don’t pay anything. Just leave the car behind with us. This is not the customer “service” that we expect from the dealer. This seems like a scam to me with the customer being scapegoated here with dealer pocketing money from factory for this fake repair. I am not coming back ever after this incident. So glad to get the true colors out from service team before agreeing to do any repairs.
