Well all I can say is Thanks Tony for keeping me updated and having so much patience with me. I was leaving out of town and my daughter there and having problems with the car. It was very comforting that Tony was able to handle this with no pressure and upfront with everything. He was very patient again with me again thank you Tony for all your help. You made this experience very comfortable for myself my wife and my daughter.
I wish that there was a scale as opposed to something so black and white, because I’m not completely upset, but there were somethings that could be done better in my opinion.
In regards to Oscar’s customer service, I was completely satisfied; however the area for improvement has to do with the record keeping and explanation of service requirements.
To elaborate, when I took my truck in for what I assumed would be an oil change and maybe some basic routine maintenance, I was very surprised to find out that there were multiple service points on the chart which were deemed to fit in the red column. My problem with this was that, when I asked Oscar to pull up the previous reports for my truck’s maintenance, there weren’t any available. Fortunately, I saved all of the receipts and maintenance reports and was able to confirm that approximately 5,000 miles ago, everything except one section was in the green (the one exception was in the yellow column). Being as that I’ve only had this truck for 1 year this month, and I’ve taken good care of it (bringing it in for any maintenance regularly), the transition of 7 different maintenance sections from green to red seems extreme. It would make more sense to me if several sections had been placed into a yellow category column, but then again I’m not an expert.
This lack of information paired with the high price of each maintenance requirement lead to confusion, and frustration. Roughly the total cost of all red column maintenance sections would have been over $600!
I don’t wish for anyone to get in trouble for this, but I would like to invite the dialogue to continue in hopes of working towards a solution, not only for myself but for the rest of your customers.

No parts in stock after car was dropped off.
Then a call from someone named Kelly saying the part was there
Then the service guy says no its not and who is Kelly.
Then I call Kelly back and she says yes the part is definitely there and she'll contact the service guy.
Then I get a text message that says the work is complete.
Then I get a text message saying the work is just getting started and they'll let me know when it's done.
At five, we need the car back so go to get it and nope, no part, no work done, no work started.
Part was supposed to come in today. Heard nothing.
So overall impression of Claremont Toyota:

Service consultant was great. My complaint was: I waited 2 hours for an oil change and minor maintenance (probably typical wait time) when my car was finished, I paid the cashier and was told to wait for them to bring the car around. It seemed like it was taking a long time but I noticed that they were washing the cars so I waited patiently. After 40 minutes, I went and asked the cashier where my car was. After another15 minutes they brought my car( which had not been washed).
