Service was horrible. My appointment was at 8am and my car wasn’t finished until 4pm. When I went to go pick up my car I waited two hours because they couldn’t find my keys. I finally came home without my car bc my keys were no where to be found and no one knew what happened to them. Terrible!

I have been going to Claremont Toyota for service since I bought my truck in 2013 and Scott has been the person I see to get car serviced. He is such a professional and has a wonderful personality that’s why I keep coming back. Today it took me two hours to get to Claremont from my home in Yucaipa due to traffic/ accident on the freeway and I drove there instead of going to the Redlands Toyota dealer which is only15 minutes from my house, because I know I’m going to get great service and a welcome friendly and professional appointment with Scott . My 2007 prius came in running fine I just wanted to check out what the check engine light that had been on momentarily a few days ago was about. When I brought it in the light had been gone and it was able to get there easily. After dropping it off and telling the service rep what the code was (P0A7A), I was told it would be $140 to diagnose it. When I went to pick it up I was told I would need an additional $450 to further diagnose it, as if the $140 was just for show and to milk me of my money. That would not have been a huge deal however HAD MY CAR NOT SUDDENLY DIED 3 MILES LATER LEAVING ME STUCK IN A BUSY INTERSECTION. Long story short, my car was perfectly drivable and fine until I brought it to you, where it mysteriously became worse and started jerking and not engaging the motor as soon as they gave it back to me, leaving me stranded and facing another $110 for a tow truck. To make me completely satisfied is simple: I only ask that the service techs repair the damage they did to my car so that it actually runs again, refund me my “diagnosing” fee since apparently nothing was diagnosed, and reimburse me for the towing fees I had to pay to get my car back home.
