My 4 children and I arrived at the service department at 1:00 p.m. my appointment was at 1:15 p.m. I was told that the service oil change and tire rotation would take one hour I did not leave the service department until 4:00 p.m.! I went back 2 times to check on the vehicle and both times I was told just a few more minutes! But those few more minutes turned into another hour and another half hour! When you are expecting to only wait one hour and it ends up being 4, it is very frustrating! Needless to say I will not be returning to Toyota for another oil change or any service for that matter.

Upon arrival, I was not greeted by a service attendant for a considerable time. I was just standing around waiting for longer then I should have been. I own a different brand of car as well as my Toyota Tacoma and when I go to that dealer for service I am immediately greeted by staff upon my arrival. Keep in mind, once I was finally greeted, my service writer did an excellent job.

I felt they were trying to sell me services I didn’t need. I know when it’s time to clean the throttle, change the coolant, etc. I just felt that they were trying to make a sale with a lot of cost involved. Do they work on commission? This is the first time this happened to me. I have been taking my Toyota’s here for years and never had this experience. Charles Carrel
