I had an appointment at 9:15 am for my new Santa Fe's first service (oil change, tire rotation and replace a recalled part). I got there by 9am. My Service Agent (SA) did not introduce himself; I never learned hisname. I waited on site for the work to be done. At 10:45 I had not heard a report so tracked down the SA and he said they were abput to start working on my car and it should only take about 30-40 min. I told him I had had a 9:15 appt, didn't they honor appointment times? He said the appointment just got you in the door. At 11:35 my car was still not done and I was not receivinag any communication. I went to talk with the Service Manager who was apologetic and said they were short staffed and that appointments do mean something. I told him that there had been no communication with me. The least they could have done was communicate what was going on and why. If I had known I was going to be there 4 hours (4 hours for regular maintenance), I could have made arrangements to be picked up. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication, very poor customer service, and waste of time. I work full time and took the day off to get a variety of errands done but spent half a workday sitting in your service department.

I do not wish to be contacted regarding my experience with Van Hyundai as my only complaint is about getting an oil change added onto my services (60k mile service, check engine light) on 7/26 even though I explicitly disclosed on my order ticket comments that I had an oil change 2 weeks prior at NTB. I was not told about an oil change being done until I got an overview of the performed services prior to paying and I was startled because I had made it known I specifically didn’t need an oil change. After reviewing my ticket Mark confirmed that the service team misread it… but that is all. My VCM motor replacement was quick and easy and Mark did great assisting me on 7/26 with assessing my vehicle/ordering the part and on 8/2 with the installation. Please do not contact me as I have no other comments and still think well of Van Hyundai and would consider returning for future services to my sedan.

I was supposed to get the Zak treatment done to my car. We talked about it and everything but I wasn’t done. So now I have to take another day off work to get it done? It’s not right, not sure why this is not a service that is done over the weekend. I was also supposed to get the new car clean and it was not done. I know it wasn’t t done because the stickers are still on the inside of the car and it was still dirty. Keep in mind, I dropped my car off at 11am and did not get to pick it back up until 30 mins before closing time.

Mark got me in quickly even though service department was busy. They were able to get my vehicle in and diagnosed within 2 hours. I left with my car fixed and in time to travel home. Thanks, Mark!

Service person could have done more research on why my brakes are scraping, instead of saying that it was just dust on my brakes. I just had my car washed, and they washed and cleaned the wheels right before I brought the car down to get service. It's not just dust. My brakes may have still been very good, but something else is causing scraping really bad when I step on the brakes. The service person said that he did not hear the brakes scraping, but the person that checked me in said he did hear the scraping noise while applying the brakes after he drove it into the garage. My paperwork says the cause was dust on the brakes that the service person washed off. The brakes when applied are still making the scraping noise. It's been doing it since not very long after I purchased the car and had your service department check during the first oil change three services ago. That person did not hear it either. You can hear it when the car window is down. 8 don't believe your service people are looking well enough to find the problem. Was my car ever in a flood zone before I purchased it? I really love my car and would like to find out what is causing the scraping when I step on my brakes. I do not want to purchase new brakes when mine are supposed to still be good I've only had the car for a year and a half. Bought Dec 21, 2019. Other than that, your service representative that checked me in did a good job.

The representative, Mr. Phil, did not clarify the closing hours of the Services Department (7pm), even though I clearly stated at what time I would pick up my vehicle (8pm) because the dealer closes at 9pm. I did not know this information as I never had to go to the dealership that late. And perhaps it was just a misunderstanding/minor misstep, but it resulted in a tremendous inconvenient for me. I have always received a great customer service from the dealership staff, and Mr. Phil was very professional. However, there is an essential area of growth for him regarding his skills to deliver clear information. Also, the leadership team could ask for important timeframes/hours of operation to be included in the automated text messages that are sent to customers. Thank you.

The service on my car was great. However, when I leased I was told that a rental would be available to be anytime I needed to get my services done. When I called and made appt I was told none were available and that 12 people were waiting on rentals so they could get engine work done. What were they driving as they were waiting on the rental?? I had to take the day off work as I didn’t have anyone to drive me and pick me, very inconvenient. Probably will not go back to get my other services done for my lease.
