Robert was fine, it wasn’t him. I just feel that the other Hansel dealership in Petaluma blew my right side headlight completely out and then wouldn’t take responsibility for it. I’ve been driving around at night with one half-working headlight and the fog lamps for about a month. I tried to address the problem with the dealership here in Santa Rosa, but I still didn’t get any help with it. I know that they checked with the manager. I want to understand why they are so sure that the Petaluma dealership didn’t do anything to damage the headlight or the bulbs. The auto parts store said that they might have hit them with a charge. Petaluma had my car for two days replacing the throttle body. I went in with a fully working right headlight. When I went to drive home from work, the headlamp was completely blown. I want to know WHY they feel that they didn’t do anything to cause it. I asked the service advisor in Petaluma to tell me what work steps they followed in changing the throttle body, and he refused. He was kind of rude about it, too. He acted like I was crazy for asking.

Recall parts not available. This is the second time I scheduled repair of the recalled part. BTW Woody handled this in a very professional manner. I'm very glad to have him as my advisor.

I truly appreciate Carol. I’ve worked with her through 2 new cars we’ve purchased with Ford. So, be clear that this feedback is not about her. She’s awesome. I’ve felt a sense of distrust in issues that I’ve had with both of my Edge vehicles (2011 & 2015). When I’ve brought them in for ongoing engine light signals or random stalling while driving 40 mph on a busy road. The response seems to be that it’s no big deal. When I search the internet I discover it’s a huge problem and the common response other customers get is the same dismissal if their concerns. It’s frightening and dangerous to have your car stop functioning for no apparent reason. It’s extremely frustrating to have to wait 10-14 days for an appointment only to hope it’s fixed with very little understanding of what’s happening and what the approach to fixing might be. It’s become a game of hope and quite frankly my trust in Ford products is declining quickly. This is from someone who bought back to back cars with Ford. I feel a bit brushed off and disappointed. I really wanted to love Ford as a brand. I’m not sure the experience of owning a Ford is what it once was. Sad, but true.

I just want to say thank you to AJ personally again. I am not the most easiest person to deal with. And he was way more than accommodating in every way. Thank you all for your excellent service and I will be bringing my vehicle in for oil changes from now on I know they are a better deal to do it at your shop. As a Ford customer passing through town on at the holiday time, I was completely taken care of! Robert had a mechanic drive with me to listen to the problem I was experiencing, diagnosed the problem, fit my car into the repair schedule and saw that I received a rental car so I could make it to Thanksgiving with my family. Thank you!
