It was a different visit from when I went prior a couple of years ago. I’m never the type to take a survey because I’ve worked in an environment where they thrive on surveys. But this experience was tough. I got there and the gentleman that approached the car to take notes. Took the notes and seemed like he was the advisor. I was getting my stuff to get out of the car thinking he was going to help me. He then told me it’s ok you can stay in your car. After getting the information he walked off and I was confused on what was happening. I waited in there car for about 5-6 min after he took the information for the car then another car rolled up to get their car serviced. That’s when the actual advisor came out and saw and approached my car and asked the same information the previous person asked. We then went inside and it was smooth from there until my car was ready. I was in the waiting room and the advisor that helped me came to get someone that was waiting for their car. I would say maybe about 10-15 min later I got a text message that my car was ready. I waited a bit to see if the advisor would come because I told him in the beginning that this car has not been serviced in a long time from a dealership so I wanted to ensure everything was still running ok and running to the expectations of Honda. But the advisor never came so I went to the front to see if he was there and he was not but I stood in the middle awkwardly waiting for someone to ask if I needed help I looked around and there was 5 advisors on their computers and not one asked me anything until I went up to one of advisors. The lady advisor then said to me “oh I’m busy with another client right now” mind you there was nobody in front of her at that moment. And I just said oh sorry it’s a quick question and asked where I can pick up my car. And she just pointed and said “over at the cashier” I went to the cashier paid for my service. And I was just honestly disappointed because the whole reason I went to the dealer was to get a good experience with knowing what was wrong with my car or if I needed to do anything. In a sense advise me to what to do with my car. And I left paying $90 for just an oil change that I could of gotten for cheaper at the mom and pop shop for cheaper for the same exact experience or if not better. I don’t know what was going on today maybe the holiday season approaching was just hectic but I don’t believe anyone should have felt the way I did today with feeling awkward to pay for a $90 oil change.
Oscar and Tim are always very helpful. They exceed my expectations. I feel more secure when I bring my car ahead of timelines to ensure road safety. Kudos to them for their kindness!
