When I visited, Jaylene worked hard to get as many people through the service dept as possible. I understand the need to work efficiently, but I expect more from representatives at McGrath and Audi. Rather than take time to answer my questions thoroughly or ask a mechanic, she provided short answers. For example, when I asked about replacing my worn break pads she said pads and rotors have to be replaced together. I know a little about car brakes - and it’s a good recommendation and good opportunity to upsell. I might l’ve gone for it too, if she would’ve said something about “even wear” or “genuine Audi parts” or asked a mechanic.. Instead when I asked why both needed replacement she said, “that’s just how Audi does it”. That was one of several interactions that diminished my confidence in your shop and made me feel like getting people out the door is the department’s only objective (even at the risk of losing business). I honestly doubt that Jaylene is at fault. She was working hard, but working toward the wrong objectives. Maybe it’s the bad direction, poor training, or just how Audi does it now. Anyway, it was less than satisfactory.

Check in took an extended time this morning - 20 mins. Nobody came out to the car and when I went in to the service desk instead of asking how they could help I was just stared at. When I spoke to the man at the desk he said someone comes out to the car - I explained I’d been waiting 15 mins at that point and he said he’d page the SA and I should wait in my car. After seeing me out there a valet asked if I needed to get out - told him I was waiting for Leanne and he said he’d find her. He came back out and said she’d be out shortly. I was told to allow 45 mins for my service which turned into 1 hr 40 mins. When I got back in my car my handicapped placard had been thrown on the passenger side floor. In the future I do NOT want this service advisor-
