Unfortunately, my experience with my car issue hasn't mirrored Travis' excellent communication and customer service. About a month ago, I took my truck in for repairs due to overheating, deceleration, a weird smell and dashboard warning signs.Fortunately, during my kids' spring break, Travis thought the process would only take a few days, but it ended up being an almost two-week ordeal largely due to dealing with the warranty company. Which meant I had to rent a car during that time. Upon getting my car back, the issue resurfaced and I discovered there wasn't any coolant left in the vehicle. After taking it back to Autohouse, I found out that It was now a blown head gasket, literally a day later. Renting a car once more, completing the job took longer than expected because of how expensive the necessary fixes are and dealing with the warranty provider's requirements as they went back and forth. I don't think they realize the stress this puts on someone as they give the run around. The stress is physically,mentally and financially draining. Yesterday evening at five o'clock I picked up my truck once more following recent repairs; however, shortly after picking my children later the next day, we experienced another breakdown due to engine failure which caused our vehicle speed decrease considerably amidst busy highway conditions - an extremely frightening experience for us! When purchasing protection plans I planned to have security and it might might have been advantageous since those additional expenses didn't prove worthwhile given such unfortunate events like this. As a single mother relying solely on myself, I'm completely exhausted and unsure of how to manage getting to work and getting my kids to school while dealing with bills that are still due. Im am completely tapped and exhausted from this experience z The responsibility for this situation lies with either the mechanic or the warranty representatives who looked at my truck.Today had the potential to be catastrophic. My children and I could have been harmed, and this marks the second occasion in which the truck was provided to me with problems. I want to express my gratitude to both Xavier who facilitated involvement of a towing service provider for our stranded vehicle recovery because I'm all out of money, and while extending appreciation towards Travis whose encouraging words helped ease anxiety during this challenging period; I literally called in, while stuck on the side of the freeway in tears. Travis was very concerned and showed Empathy. However the overall rating would fall short from being designated an excellent automotive encounter.
