The initial service on my new car was satisfactory. The service representative was not very personable which I am sure is not a requirement but is appreciated. I have an issue with the LED headlights which is a known well known problem with the new LEDs. There is a black line at night that prevents drivers from seeing properly at night without street lights. This is not a problem for those who live in a well populated dense city with street lights. However, at night in a rural area with more darkness it prevents the driver from seeing the whole road going forward. The customer rep seemed ignorant of this issue but claimed he would ask the service attendant. Maybe he did but the response was less than acceptable. Well it is a problem but we can't do anything about it. It is a very dangerous problem and to be ignored I feel is wrong on Lexus to just shrug their shoulders.
The service representative seemed unable to respond to my concerns and actually made me feel like I was a silly old woman for complaining about it. That is not the way I would expect Lexus to treat customers. It is not his fault I know but to not try to resolve it more I felt was less than acceptable.
