I had a horrible experience, second time around with below average service. My car was done at 12:30, was told I would get a text when the car was completed. Never received a text. Waited all morning for text. Called in around 2 for status of my car. Was told “ status not updated”. 10 mins later I received, my car was completed prolly around 12:30.
Finally, I go through me email Monday morning. I see messages sent to my email advising my car was ready at 12:30. I would have checked my emails for my car status!!! But I was told I’d be reached via text. Checking emails is not something I prefer to do on a weekend.
I went to pay, the clerk mentions I was contacted via text. But it wasn’t! Anyhow, I’m over it. My car is done, I won’t be coming back to the Lexus in Escondido. I will route myself to Kearny Mesa, where I use to service my gx460.

The customer service experience was excellent but we were not able to fix the dash panel trim falling issue. Not the fault of the service tech as he followed the directives of Lexus. This is a design issue wich is not expected out of a Lexus. I had to put some velcro in the back of the panel when i got home such that it would at least prevent it from completely droping.

I was not notified when it would be ready. I texted an hr before closing and didn’t hear back until 30 mins after. It was after I called the desk to find out it was ready. And since I had a loaner, that didn’t give me enough time to fill the tank and I was rushing to get before closing so I do not get charged for keeping over July 4th since the svc advisor Anthony said I would be charged. I had already told him I had meetings from 4-6p but will pick up during that time if needed since you close at 5p. On my way there I get the text it’s ready at 430p and I don’t have to rush since I can do after hours pick up from 5-7p. It should have been communicated from the beginning my options so I can plan accordingly. I’m very unsatisfied causing me stress to get there before closing. Luckily I was in the next city.
