I got my spoiler installed 2 months ago. When I got my car wrapped the shop showed me in person the right side was not stripped but the left side had the bolts stripped. I brought it back to show the dealer and inspect installation. They did not even open the spoiler they just looked at it and said we installed it correct. Joseph was dismissive and did not give me the phone numbers of service managers to talk to about the situation when I asked. Please see text correspondence. I had to talk to another tech when I came to get my car since he was nowhere to be found. He did not tell me he would be gone. Christina was communicative but she also said they were installed in correctly without even looking at the spoiler installation to see if the threads were stripped. I talked to other civic owners who have the spoiler and they said that what the Honda accessory tech guy told me that once you screw in the spoiler you cannot unscrew it is untrue. The fact that the right side was removable but the left side was not proved it on my own car. I would like an installation refund since the tech stripped the bolts as he installed. When I asked them to take off the spoiler to show me they said they cannot and did not even try to show me, and later I independently verified the left side was stripped which is why they did not want to open it and look. I think Christina tried her best but did not know all the ins and outs so she believed the tech. I believe the accessory guy knew the bolts could have been stripped so when Christina was there he made sure to hold his position and not open it to even look.
