Extremely poor service and communication from Randy. We made an appointment for my car on Tuesday, appointment time 7am on Friday. The airbag needed to be fixed due to the recall, I had a blinker bulb out, and my brakes needed to be fixed as I heard grinding. All of that was explained on the phone on Tuesday. I dropped my car off Thursday evening and Friday morning I didn't get a call until 9:40 explaining what needed to be done. Randy talked me through what was wrong with the brakes, and what was needed but also tried to sell me on the 60k mile check up. I informed him very clearly to skip the oil change part of it, and not to change the filters because I knew those were fine (I know how to check and change my engine and cabin filters). The only thing I approved was the brake fluid flush, and the transmission fluid change. At the end of the call Randy told me my car would be done that afternoon. Fast forward to 3:50 and I still hadn't heard anything about my car (on the envelope when I dropped my car off I said I wanted it done by 4 thinking that would be ample time for everything to get done). My husband called and Randy told him it would be another 10-15 minutes and he would call when it was done. ONE HOUR goes by and we hadn't heard anything. My husband calls back and he got Randy's voicemail, left a message, NO CALL BACK. Seriously? So we drove over there, get there, and were told it would be ANOTHER 10-15 minutes. What? So by this time it's after 5pm, very near to closing time, and I'm very upset that my car has literally been there all day and it's still not done. Randy explains that they were waiting on parts... We knew on Tuesday that something was wrong with the brakes, why weren't the parts ordered Tuesday? Why weren't they in stock either? It's not like brakes are a one off issue that only very few people have. He also told me they were "very busy today". I was not a drop in, I made this appointment in advance so there should have been a block a time set aside for a tech to work on the car. Finally when my car is just about finished, Randy takes me through the bill and says "and we did an oil change", I explicitly told them NOT to do an oil change when we talked earlier. He said that was his bad and gave me $30 back to cover the oil change, plus another $30 for inconvenience. Then, when we went through the bill later, it wasn't very clear that the $60 was actually taken off, so my husband called again to have Randy explain, but of course, his call went to Randy's voicemail, and no call back. I really prefer not to take my car to Serra Honda in the first place but since I had to this time for the airbag recall I will definitely not be returning unless I have to for a recall in which case I will not allow anything else to be done to my car. Not happy with this experience and the lack of communication about why it was taking so long for my car to be fixed. Also not pleased about nearly getting charged for an oil change when I explicitly said "do not do an oil change". Horrible experience overall, I will not be returning.

When I called Dwain he told me when there were openings. We agreed on a time when I was able to come in. I arrived, he took my information and informed me of what should be done. I agreed and signed the necessary forms. I explained that I was being picked up by a friend and would be gone for a while. I left, after a while I received a phone call that my car was ready. When I was ready, my friend dropped me off. Dwain went over what had been done to my car. I paid and my car was brought to me. I was very satisfied and left.

First, I was not greeted when I arrived. Then when stated that I was told a loaner was supposed to be available for me, I was questioned loaner or shuttle. I said loaner. Then, we had to wait for another customer for about 10 minutes and had to drop her off first because she was closer even though I stated that I had to leave right away since work was about 30 minutes away with morning traffic and construction. Got to work 15 minutes late. Was picked up on time. Thank goodness. While at work, I received a text from Serra Honda saying thank you for choosing us, please reply to this text if you have any questions. Well that’s I responded to the text because I didn’t know if I needed an alignment which was the main reason for my appointment today. No responses from anyone from that text. I now received a text from that same text about this survey. Anyways was dropped off at Honda and still was not greeted as the rep was in his phone. Never responding to my texts. Went over the results of work done on my car that day and left. All in all. I work in Customer Service and there was not one bit of good quality service from this dealership today. The shuttle driver was the only good service that was provided for me today. Thanks again shuttle driver! I’ve been going to this dealership for years and have never been so frustrated with the service that was provided. Also when I received my keys and looked for my car, I was just parked in the middle of the road and not even in a parking spot. Why? There were plenty open spots available. Just really disappointed.

Jesse did an excellent job with squeezing me in last minute with short notice. He took great care of me and ensured the issue was corrected this time around.
My only qualm is I now have to clean up my driveway in an effort to remove the oil stain. Sounds like the root cause was a pinched oil filter from installation. I have a pretty sizable spot (4x3 area) that more than likely settled into the concrete at this point and will require additional man hours for me to remove.
If I could get some to address my concerns it would greatly appreciated.
