Basically everything worked out Ok, with a couple of glitches. I wish I had been told that I should have the glove box unlocked, because the key I left with my car was the valet key and I had to drive back to deliver another key to unlock it. Also I was told the car wouldn’t be ready until the next day. At 3:30 on the day I left my car, I received a message that the car was ready to be picked up. As I drove into the car rental to turn in the rental car, a voice mail message came in from Julien. Unfortunately, the message was all broken up and I was only able to understand “This is Julien.....tomorrow. “ This confused me—was the car ready or not? Anyway, I drove to the Subaru service department and where I was told the car was indeed the car was ready to go. I’m assuming the work was actually completed! Someone in service graciously offered to return the rental car. All’s well that ends well!

I do not like to experience " price gouging" which is what I experienced today. Subaru's parts prices are exorbitant and Bob Baker's labor charges are excessive. My next new car will be one that has better performance, less expensive maintenance charges and is a pleasure to drive, probably a BMW.

Jed was great. He was very friendly, and we had a good laugh when I walked all the way to the mall with my keys in my pocket and had to come back. I needed a sensor replaced for my tire pressure and he gave me a great deal getting it done without additional labor costs. He might have a few things to learn about the exact specifics of each upcoming service needed for the different models and mileage, but as someone like me who knows the bare minimum about cars, I have to say it’s the employees like Jed and Zach who educate you and sell it to you straight that bring me back here for service every time
