I discussed having issues with my instrumentation panel in the car flashing at me upon starting the car. I also mentioned that my battery would die and the car would sometimes flash lights or seem like something electrical was not connected properly. I suggested that a wire might be loose in the instrumentation panel and I mentioned that when I hit the dashboard it would magically fix the problem. Jim later told me it was the starter that was causing the problem and that he had his mechanic replicate the problems I was having. I'm not sure if that happened, but he ensured me the electrical problems were because of the starter and not because of the instrumentation panel. I paid a hefty price tag to have my starter replaced and I have now had the same problem occur three more times in the past two days. Clearly the problem is not fixed. I should have raised more questions about why the starter would have been the problem when I could hit the dashboard to fix the issue, but I'm not a car expert and figured electrical problems can be very chaotic. At the end of the day I just want this issue fixed so if the service team at Honda can correctly identify the issue and fix it that would be great, but I'm just concerned this is going to turn into a replace every part till the issue is magically solved type fix and I can't afford that.

Except... I was told my low beam headlight bulb was out. It was my high besm. O'Reilly's bulb was $13.88 & one of the gentlemen installed it for me without charge. West Hills Honda would have charged me $48.
