We are dissatisfied with our experience at Heartland Toyota because this vehicle was supposed to be a certified Toyota vehicle and many things were not done correctly... - Poor detailing: Dirty rugs and tracks under seats and icky brown stuff on rear seatbelt hinge, dash and shifter had stuff stuck in them. I took a couple pictures and sent to our salesperson Jordan. But ended up cleaning the brown gunk off ourselves so our granddaughter didn't come n contact with it. -Rear driver taillight leaked after I was washed and we noticed water pooled inside. Sakesperson said only condensation, but water was sloshing so obviously need to be fixed or replaced. This should have been noticed and repaired before sale.i should have been replaced today. - We told our salesperson the SUV had to have a hitch to tow up to a 2,000 lb trailer. An aftermarket which was installed by previous owners, but while doing the final inspection before we drove it off the lot, we looked under the back and realized that there were NO wires installed whatsoever. Jordan mentioned "that was on and I should have looked and confirmed the wiring was installed". But we now stuck paying for parts and installation of the wire assembly. The service department did honor a price matched on online price of $157 just for the just but charged additional $230 for labor. Our cost was $400 after waiting over 3.5 hrs in in your lobby today. - Cargo bars listed on paperwork, but missing from the roof of the Highlander. Jennifer from Service said they can use the ones in stock, but after 3 hrs of waiting, they didn't have them after all. Now I have to make another 30 minute drive each way for the to get that installed. At this point we do not plan on giving a very positive review on your website unless you can make things right.
