I went in for routine maintenance but asked Michael if he could scan an engine code. He said that would normally have to be done with a different appointment with the service department. The service agent did a great job keeping me informed while the service was in progress...... I think I was confused initially during check-in when I was told that my truck was not going to receive an oil change. I thought I was coming in for the truck’s first oil change , but it turned out that I was there for the first vehicle inspection after purchase. I didn’t understand why the initial inspection was done at the 4 months mark vice waiting another months so that it met the 5 months or 5,000 mile oil change requirement. As it is, I’ll have to make another appointment in a month or so to satisfy the factory maintenance requirement. Just confused.
