I was not kept informed the whole time. I had to make numerous calls to get status of my car. My car was left in the lot for few days without any work being done. The excuse I got from the service advisor was that he didn’t want to call me with no updates. At a minimum he could have let me know what’s going on so I know what and why I am waiting to pick up my car. Also the work I requested was not being done. My car was shaking when braking during high speeds and it was confirmed that the rotors need to be resurfaced, but when I got back the car it still shook. It is obvious that the Lexus rotors are defective. I still have 7mm brake pads left and I am not an aggressive driver. The car drifts to the right and my VIN qualifies for the TSB I presented. However, my request was completely disregarded and the fix was not done. I was repeatedly asked to pay to perform alignment when that was not even the cause of the issue. Other Lexus NX owners experienced the same issue where alignment did not fix the slight pull to the right, and that’s why Lexus issued the TSB fix. There were wheel stains that is a known defect all over the internet. Other Lexus owners experienced the same and some dealers actually replaced the wheels under warranty. It seems to me that Lexus does not live up to its reputation and the so-called X years of warranty means nothing if they do not honor it, repeatedly refusing to cover repairs for defects. Lexus is known for reliability, but my experience says otherwise.
