First time at Longo Lexus and I was beyond impressed with how i was treated from the moment I arrived. I was advised to try Longo by Taylor Soohoo after explaining to her my horrible experience at another Lexus dealership. Taylor reassured me that would not be the case at Longo and im glad I made the trip. I have a very modified Lexus RCF show car and the amount of care that was given to my car was nothing less then perfect. The Service Director Paul made sure his staff knew to handle my car with the utmost care while performing a recall service for a part. Knowing I can trust my car at a dealership to be returned to me in the same or even better condition then when i brought it in, is a must. Thank you Taylor and Paul, you all have a acquired a new client for the life of my car and as long as I am a Lexus owner. Also everything from the dealership and the glass windows that allow customers to watch their car as its being worked on, to the cleanliness, to having a starbucks is exactly what i think of when owning a luxury sports car. Longo Lexus is the definition of perfection to me.

My Lexus 450h is roughly one year old and I purchased it new based on lots of recommendations on the cars reliability. Yet, I had problems with the camera system from the start until it was realized that it wasn’t plugged in correctly. I found this out only when a service person called me, saying I broke my warranty on the car by taking my car to an unauthorized service place, finding the camera system was not hooked up correctly (my car has only been serviced at Longo). Blaming me was a surprise and a let down by Longo. I also brought my car in for service several month back, due to the sunroof mechanism breaking and bending the overhead panels, I had only opened the sunroof a handful of times when this break occurred. Now, I have brought my car in due to the fact the radio and entire navigation system went out. Really, this car again is roughly one year old and these things shouldn’t be happening to a car that is soooooo reliable. When expressing my frustration with the service agent, Kelly, he responded by saying that he hears these complaints all day long, and if I’m dissatisfied I should call corporate. Even stating there is nothing he can do for me, just call corporate. I am tired of being told the parts need to be ordered, for yet another repair. I mention to Kelly that Longo is the largest dealer and more parts should be stored in house for fixes. I get that this is an unusual problem to have the radio and navigation system go out, but to be told by Kelly “do you want a year old part put in your car” doesn’t make sense. I doubt the part coming into Longo was made yesterday, I’m sure the part/s have been sitting on a shelf somewhere for close to a year. Kelly was very dismissive towards me and I feel there is definitely gender basis, as well. Kelly wants to deal with my husband emailing/calling etc... however, this Lexus is MY car and I paid cash for it at the time of purchase. Again, I’m frustrated that a car that touts reliability has let me down again with things breaking that really should break within a years time. But, I’m just as upset that a service agent doesn’t understand “service.” Dismissing customers can be detrimental to future sales and lead to bad reviews with family and friends looking at purchase from Longo in the future. I expected better from Longo.
