When I was making an online service appointment it gave me time slots and the latest was 4:45, and after I made that appointment, two people from the team called me to make me change my appointment, what I don’t understand is if the time slot does not allow, how can the website allow this time slot, this interrupted my scheduling and I had to rearrange my schedule in order to wait for and pick up my vehicle on the same day. They asked me to move the appointment up to 4PM so they can have an hour to perform the service. They also informed me that I could leave the car there and pick it up the next day, but I’ve had really bad experiences from loaner cars so I asked what would be the best time to come without getting a loaner car and they said 4PM should be sufficient.
When I arrived to Longo, I waited for 30 minutes until a representative approached me (I left my keys and checked in with the front desk). Kelly Yang approached me and asked me to sign the papers but he seemed impatient and told me it’s already 4:30PM so he needed to get things going, and he asked what I was here for, and I said I’m here to get maintenance oil change, and he said in a disrespectful tone that I was actually came in for service and as I continue to ask question because I am a first time buyer, he told me that I would have to ask questions later because he needs to get my service going. I then told him I don’t know what’s going on because I am a first time buyer and no one explained to me that’s what service meant. He later explained that service included the oil change and it also includes inspections and such, which is why it is going to take a while, and I explained it’s because I’m a first time buyer so I questioned why it is taking so long to do a simple oil change, Kelly then laughed and it made me felt disrespected, because it made it seem like he’s making fun of me not knowing this information. He asked me to sign some papers and initials but he was also very impatient because I was reading every line. At around 4:45 PM / 5PM Kelly told me that I had to leave my car there because there was some battery issue, and they told me I would need to get a loaner car. But I had to reschedule everything in order to NOT get a loaner car, I was very upset at this entire situation because I had to move my scheduling to everything but absolutely NOTHING was going the right way.
When I arrived Saturday with the courtesy vehicle awaiting for my pickup, no one was at the valet to help us to sign in, when I walked in they asked me to wait for almost an hour to pick up the vehicle. This is absolutely ridiculous, no one even informed me what happened with the battery and Kelly was not there to explain anything to me, and when I asked the valet what happened to the battery and he did not know what was going on as well. I left not knowing anything about my vehicle and I did not want to waste another second in that Longo anymore.
