Longo Lexus Auto Repair Service

I am not writing this lightly. I purchased my vehicle originally from Longo in 2009 so naturally if there was a problem I would go back because my memory of this dealer and other Lexus dealers is that the customer service from that period was fantastic. My recent experience however was very underwhelming. I felt my service advisor was not particularly knowledgeable or pleasant. He seemed disconnected, arrogant and not particularity motivated to help. He gave me false and incorrect pricing information which led me to contact two other dealers because I could not believe the information provided to me by two different associates in your department varied so drastically. I should state that I had a rough day having lost my car key and had to have my car towed from Orange County to your dealer. When I expressed surprise at the quote that was provided to me (mind you it was incorrect) David commented “that’s why you never want to lose your original keys.” I do not believe anyone intends to lose their keys. In fact i believe the error is on Lexus because my car should never have started if the keys were placed outside/on top of the vehicle. In any case I am due to purchase or lease another vehicle in 2 month’s time. Based on my general experience with Longo I will likely not consider purchasing or having any of my vehicles serviced at this location.

Kelly Yang is the strongest example of customer service I have ever seen anywhere within the auto industry (I am 64 years old and have owned and leased many vehicles). While I commend you all for hiring and training Kelly, you simply cannot train some of his special leadership qualities he brings. Kelly is a leader who serves and advocates. He is humble. He is honest. He is intelligent and strategically shrewd. He is confident and yet respectful. He is professional in every way. Congratulations on such a fine reoresentative of your dealership and manufacturer branding!
