The service consultant was speaking in a tone that seemed disrespectful. He was obviously annoyed that I did not know my car has to be running to charge the battery. His choice of words like "you have to understand," along with his upset tone and body gesture (side to side head shake to indicate disapproval) did not leave me with a good first impression. Just the way he was speaking to me makde me feel stupid. I'd like to say that the general public obviously does not know as much as we'd like to regarding the auto industry. The issue of jumpstartung the car was brought up a few months prior, and when I stated the car passed the battery check at that time, the consultant was very positive when he was telling me that the jumpstarting was because the car is not being driven long distance so the battery is not charging. He was telling me he's seen many people with my situation and that I "fit within that group." I was also told that my vechile would need a day at the shop, I received no updates on the promised day. I had to call in to check the status of my car. The battery ended up getting replaced because it did not pass the test. The consultant was speaking in a much more friendlier tone/seemed more polite over the phone that day. I don't know if it is because he was wrong about what he had said before and is trying to make up for it. Overall, my first encounter with this consultant left me irritated and upset. The second encounter was much better experience.
