Jennifer Nam is helpful and I'm happy with her as my Advisor. As far as the Technicians who worked on my car, I'm very dissatisfied and feel that they gave me poor quality service. These are the issues that they found with my car and now I have to come back to deal with these issues again because they didn't get fixed:
1. There was a leak in my sunroof and I showed a photo of it to Jennifer. The first Technician that diagnosed it said he couldn't find the leak. Therefore, Jennifer had to get a second Technician on the following day to look at it again and it was he who found the damage. Jennifer went out of her way to ask Lexus to pay for part of the cost to replace my sunroof. Thank you for covering 250 of my sunroof cost. This part of the service was resolved; however, the 3 points below are ongoing and will require me to take time off work and follow up because the Technicians neglected to double check their work.
2. The back indicator sensor lit up on my dash. They replaced my back light with a new bulb. I came home and my back indicator light is still on and the left running back light is still not working.
3. They found that the negative terminal on my battery was corroded and suggested to replace the battery. With the picture I was provided, I opted not to have Lexus replace my battery. When I got home my husband inspected it and all he had to do was disconnect the negative battery cable and clean the corrosion off with baking soda and water. The cable, itself, wasn't damaged/deteriorated. Lexus wanted to charge me 271 for a new battery when all it needed was cleaning and it took 10 minutes. With this service, I spent a total of 1,017.06 and the Technician couldn't take 10 minutes to clean the corrosion and would rather charge a long-time customer 271 for unnecessary battery replacement?
4. There was a recall on the passenger airbag so part of the service was getting that replaced. I took the car home and noticed when I finally sat in the front passenger side that the carpet along the center console is protruding out and something is loose underneath the carpet.
