Unsatisfactory service experience at Longo Lexus. I drove my CT200h to Longo to have the battery checked as I thought it’s charge level might be low. Service advisor Kelly Yang said I should replace the battery and quoted me a price of $210. I knew I didn’t have to replace the battery immediately but $210 seemed like a fair price so I said ok. When the work was completed I received the invoice for $290.05. I immediately bought this to Kelly’s attention and his response was his original quote of $210 was for a smaller battery and my CT200h requires a larger and more expensive battery. I paid the full amount on my Visa but I feel like I was fooled into making my decision as I would not have approved $290. I feel I should be refunded $80 on my Visa to make good on the original $210 quote. I’ve been a loyal Longo Lexus service customer for 4 years and will not return or recommend Longo Lexus Service Dept based on my unsatisfactory experience today.
