When I booked my appt I was told my service would be an hour but when I got there I was told 2 hours. When sitting in my car upon arrival I waited 30 minutes for someone to come to my car and start the intake process. I waited at the counter and finally saw my car pulled in to the service area after noon. Michael came by and said it was about done and going to wash however it was over an hour longer before it was done. Then I got in my car and they’d lost the key. Several gentlemen told me it was in the car and when I insisted it wasn’t Michael came over and insisted it was there and even picked my purse to move it to the ignition switch to show me I had it. The reactions to the lost key for the first 10 minutes was that I must have misplaced it. I don’t believe a male customer would have had the same experience. My appt. was @10:40 am and it was close to 3 pm before I drove away. Hard to understand how my 10k mile check was 4 hours long. Management reached out and apologized and has offered a gift card to offset the experience which I appreciate. The decision to purchase my Lexus from Stevens Creek rather than Putnam (which is much closer to my home) was based in large part because of my customer service experience. My first service was impressive and that was my expectation for this service. Just about everything that could go wrong did go wrong. I plan to return for my next service and hope this was a one off experience.
