Martin told me my oil change would be completed and my car ready by 10:30am. I arrived at 8:00am for my reservation and completed my paperwork for my service at 8:25am. I did not hear again from Martin until past 11am and he did not acknowledge that the service was running late even after I text him that that was the case. I did not receive my car until 11:45 am despite having an 8am reservation and only doing an oil change. I’ve been a loyal customer of Longo Toyota’s service center despite being quite a drive from my home because of the reliable, quality and consistently prompt service. Today did not go as I expected from past years experiences. Martin should have provided an update if the service was running behind schedule.

Even with an appointment that I was told would take 1and 1/2 hours I was there for more than 3 hours. Upon being sent to pick up my car I waited for 1/2 hour and the young girl ran over and came back and said they did not know where it was. It showed shortly after that.

I would prefer to be informed when services are "recommended" rather than this is what is done in this scheduled maintenance. I felt like the service was being slipped in there and I paid additional for it, when maybe it could have waited. I want the option, recommended or needs to be serviced, before I make my decision. This has happened on other occasions. Also, I was disappointed that in th 5 hour wait, that not once did any one come to sanitize the arms of the chairs or the door handles to your wait area. The restrooms were checked several times, but the wait area was not. Lastly, there were 2 TV sets running, one with repeating infomercials with uncomfortable volume and the other that you couldn't hear unless you were right up to it. It would be nice to see closed captioning on the tv for your hearing impaired patrons. Thank you no need to further contact me. Just have your service rep make clear what is "recommended".
