First time that I’ve received less than excellent service! I felt I was a bother to my service advisor for asking questions. I did not appreciate waiting until my promise time to hear from my service advisor that I would need my breaks serviced (something I already knew I would need done) ! My appt was at 11:15, promise time was 3 pm, and once I received the call that I would need my breaks done it would have taken an additional 2 hours. Longo Toyota states that customer’s time is valuable and that was definitely not the case yesterday if it was expected for me to wait a total of 6 hours for my vehicle to be ready!

I wasn’t completely satisfied with the service today because of extenuating circumstances that I will expand upon momentarily. I was, however, very satisfied with the service and attention to detail that Eric Chung provided. Now, the rain why I wasn’t completely satisfied with the service today is because it also went hand in hand with the previous service that I had at Longo. I came in this morning for what I thought was my last complementary service and to my surprise, Eric told me that my service would come out to $500. I asked him why Ana he went on to say that the complimentary services ended at 35,000 miles, to which no one ever made me aware of... not the leasing nor the financial agents at Tustin Toyota or any of the service reps that has helped me out previously at Longo. Now, I’m not abdicating my responsibility in this because had I read through my contract more thoroughly, I probably would’ve seen that stipulation. However, this is the first time that I’ve EVER leased a car, so all of this is very unfamiliar to me. Also, it’s just disappointing to know that all of these Toyota reps, not one, ever gave me that one bit of extremely important and costly info (except for Eric, which was already after the fact. My mileage was at 48,000 and while I now know it was WAY OVER the allotted miles to receive the complementary service, I just wanted to remind you that I just found that out today. The last service I had, my mileage was at 34,723 or 34,823... something like that. Instead of recommending that I do the 35,000 mile service, which was the bigger service, the rep had me do the 30,000 mile service. While she’s may have had me do the 30,000 because it was skipped earlier, I really felt like she should’ve known that 35,000 was the bigger one and elect to do that. That would’ve saved me the extra cost! Or, she could’ve at the vet least let me know that my complementary service would be no more once I reach 35,000! All she told me was that I have one more complementary service and that was part of the reason why I was stretching out my time between my services. Has she told me that, I would’ve either asked her to schedule me in the next week or i may have just had her do the 35,000 mile service. I leased the Mirai through my sister, Sandra Maine’s referral. She used to work for Toyota headquarters in Torrance. When I went to car, I asked to do the extended miles instead of the standard 10,000. I asked if I could do a 15,000 or 20,000, but was told that the most was 12,000. And that would’ve and should’ve been the perfect opportunity for the leading rep to fill me in on the 35,000 limit as opposed to him keep saying that it’ll would cost me nothing to maintain the car because it’s covered by Toyota. I talked to Eric about this and he brought his service manager, Rob, into the conversation. Rob said that he would be happy to do the complementary service Toyota would reimburse Longo for it. That’s when Eric called Toyota and they gave him the negative and I tried calling and was turned down too. This is where things got better. I then asked Eric to speak to Rob to see if he could perform the 35,000 service and only charge me for the 30,000 which is $200. My reasoning, again is because the previous rep really should’ve told me. Rob couldn’t do that, I guess, but was able to give me a 15% discount. Poor Eric had to listen to me Ana my whining, but in my defense, imagine the sticker shock I had thinking that it was free and then get knocked out with the news that it was $500! While I do appreciate Rob giving me the 15%, it’s Eric that I really appreciate. He was patient and extremely helpful and knowledgeable in the Mirai because he actually drives one himself. Maybe all the reps should get some training on all the ins and outs of a Mirai service or only have the reps that either drive the Mirai or have knowledge of the Mirai work with the Mirai drivers. I wasn’t fully satisfied with my service from the reps at Toyota either. The answers provided to me definitely didn’t sit well.

Service was fine . The dealership was very busy and the wait for simple service took 2 and 1/2 hours. This had nothing to do with Jeff’s accommodations but I think my appointment was at an overbooked time. It was too long to wait during these pandemic time. I live outside your shuttle service area so must wait on site for service. It was somewhat uncomfortable.
