Today I came in to do detail on my Kia Soul at 730am. Was promised it will be done by 1p so I decided I would stick around even though it was my birthday today. My car was not done until 4p with me asking for an update several times before receiving the appropriate resolution. After, the rep told me it will take 5 mins to release my paperwork- I waited for another half hour before the paperwork was done reason being “they are training someone new”. I have been a loyal Longo Toyota patron for over 6 years and even with a different brand car I still brought it back to Longo for service. I had always had a great experience however today was not up to my expectations. Possibly I spent my whole day there on my birthday when I thought I would be out by 1p. I did not get home until 530p. Not how I imagined spending my birthday.

When I made the appointment I asked if I would get a ride back home I was I they would either provide an Uber or a shuttle and it would be after was done with advisor. When I went to request a ride home I was told it would take and hour even getting an Uber. I explained to the girl that I was promised a ride home without a wait she responded by saying that was not her problem. Uber dont take an hour. I talked to Mathew the service manager and explained that I needed a ride back because I had another appointment at 10:30am he told the girl to get me a ride. It took more than an hour I had to cancel my 10:30 appointment and paid a cancelation fee. I ended up having to call my daughter to pick me up. I'm very unhappy with the way I was treated. Maddie the service advisor was pleasant and helpful she got me an Uber back to the dealer.
