I scheduled an appointment & was assured the part would arrive Thursday for my Friday repair. I took the day off work, brought my truck in and was checked in. After 2 HOURS i get a call saying my part needs to be ordered so no work could be done. This is the 2nd time this exact thing has happened for this same repair. This time around I cant understand what went wrong since i made sure the receptionist assured the part would be delivered AND the service rep checked me in and it took 2 hours to figure out there was a problem. Finally when i pick up my truck im waiting an extra 30mins til the cashier calls my truck to be brought out since the rep didn’t. Unsatisfactory experience, twice for the same issue. I’m currently waiting for an update.

While Toyota provided its 2yrs no cost maintenance program they scheduled my oil changes at 10K intervals. I came in a few months ago at 28990 miles while still under warranty but was told. “Absolutely not” the service must be done only after I hit 30K. Well surprisingly I hit that number weeks later and now I have to pay for that oil change. Well I paid it and to my surprise the sticker placed on my windshield suggests my next oil change at 35000 , hhhhmmm ???? thats every. 5000 miles. That’s a slick way for Toyota to side on 5 oil changes. Shame shame shame.
