I went into Longo Toyota for help in getting a key made for my 2016 Tacoma Off-road. I provide my VIN # and was told by a female supervisor that I would have to replace the entire tailgate key mechanism, and that a key was not possible to be remade, I stated that I had a key provided to me 9-18-2018 when I purchased the truck and I was not provided one at the time of sale a day later I was given a key with no problem. I just needed help to open the tailgate because my keys were locked in the truck bed to retrieve my original keys that were locked up on accident. I parts cashier and one older gentleman tried but no success.

I was promised that my vehicle would be ready by 8 am the next morning, however it seems that the service on my car had not been started till about 12pm on the day that I was suppose to pick it up. I had to wait till 5pm in order to get my car back, making me miss multiple important meetings that I had planned. Unfortunately I am disappointed that I was promised a certain time but had to wait over six hours.

Made an appt for 9am, left the truck and I didn't get a text until 11am that it went in for service. The 5k mile service and a review of a noise in the engine took almost 6 hours. Then, when they gave me my truck back, it wasn't even washed. Now I have to wait for parts to be ordered for fixing a TSB. Not happy at all, to say the least.
