Eric was unethical by setting me up for the services that I did not
authorized. I took my Prius to Longo for the recall service and that is all I need. Eric printed out the paperwork and have me signed without mentioning the additional fee-incurred services. I trusted Longo as we bought our Prius and Lexus all from Longo so I did not take a close look at the paperworks. Then when I confronted him next day, he lied and said he did mention the extra services and fees to me. So it was his words against mine. I can not believe if this is how Longo training service staff to solicit more fees from customers or individual employees’ ethical problem. Fortunately service manager came out and listened and waived the fee. The manager’s decision keeps my faith in Longo as the whole. But this is such a horrible experience and I feel the necessity to let the management be aware of this customer service event and watch out for this guy

This is George E Aiken, my wife Rosa Maria Serrano-Aiken arrived for her 10:00am airbag recall service appointment around 9:50am. on 5/4/19 at Longo Toyota. Jeffery Taos of the service dept. Told me that it would take 7-8 hours to service the airbag passenger side; because, “we are very busy”. When I told him the service department quoted me a 4 hour wait, not a 7-8 hour wait when I made my appointment three weeks prior; he stated that, “the service dept. kind of overbooked”. Also, he told me there was no time for the VIP wash or to check my drivers door issue; and that there would be a labor charge, even though (my driver’s door swings open too quickly and too wide). I also scheduled the door issue and VIP wash along with my recall service appointment
After spending 40 minutes at the service dept.
I was told I live too far for the shuttle to take me home and then later on bring me back to Longo. So, I then went to the concierge’s desk for a shuttle to take me to a shopping center 3 miles away.
40 minutes later, I asked how long the shuttle would be; I was told it would be at least another 45 minutes. They then scheduled an Uber to take me over to a shopping center 3.1 miles away.
They said that the latest pick up time it was 2:00pm, so I scheduled a
2:00pm shuttle pick up at the same shopping center. After waiting for over a half an hour outside the shopping center in the heat, at 2:26pm, I called Longo’s concierge desk. I was told by Roberto, that two shuttles were far away in other cities and two drivers were at lunch. He said they couldn’t pick me up. He said someone at Longo forgot to call me! So I asked him what I should do, he finally scheduled an Uber to pick me up. Five minutes later a text stated a Toyota Corolla Uber driver would be picking me up; after waiting for 15 minutes I received a text that my driver had arrived. I went to two people in the parking lot that had Toyota Corollas and asked if they were my Uber drivers; both of them said no. So I called Longo and asked why my Uber driver wasn’t here yet even though the text told me they were. I was told that the Uber driver canceled my pick up. I then asked if they were going to order me another one. They then ordered me another Uber and I waited another 16 minutes for a Ford Focus to pick me up. Then I saw Ford Focus driving around in the parking lot, I walk around the parking lot (in the heat and walking around with a knee in a brace). I flagged the driver down; the Uber driver cannot speak English, he only speaks Vietnamese. I only speak English and Spanish. I asked him if he is my Uber driver and I checked the license plate and it is the same license plate that was text to me. He told me, “Longo cancel me drive.”
I tried to explain to him that Longo will cover the cost. He would not drive me. I called Longo and spoke to Jorge, he told me that my Uber driver was accidentally cancelled.Jorge tried to order the same Uber driver that I was speaking to; but could not. I was exhausted, my knee was hurting, and it was hot. I told Jorge I was going to offer the Uber driver $20 cash to drive me back to Longo. I decided to ask the Uber driver to drive me to Longo Toyota for $20 cash. He seemed to understand and I guided him back to Longo using my phone GPS. When I arrived to Longo, I went to the service dept. and Jeffrey was not available. I then went to the concierge‘s desk and asked Jorge if I could be reimbursed for the $20 Uber ride. He said he didn’t think so and directed me to the cashiers office. When I went to the cashiers office and explained the entire mess that happened, they told me they could get a manager over; however it might take 20-30 minutes. I was exhausted, in knee pain, hot, sweaty, frustrated, and I just wanted to go home. They asked me to pay $14.99 for my VIP wash; I asked if the cost could be waived since I paid the Uber driver $20 cash and had a miserable time with the airbag wait time, shuttle service and Uber experiences. I was told they could not do that.
I feel that Longo Toyota over schedules the service dept. and although your employees are very nice, such as Jeffrey Taos and Jorge Anguiano; I just felt like a number, NOT a valued customer. I Purchased my 2015 Scion xB from Longo Toyota because I had heard wonderful things about the dealership. This experience with Longo Toyota over booking the service department, overbooking the shuttle service, and treating their customers as if they are cattle; makes me realize I picked the wrong dealership to purchase my vehicle! My husband and I will be in the market for a Toyota Tundra truck next year, I don’t think Longo Toyota is the place for us to buy it! I am very frustrated and disappointed!

This staff who is Alexander Ayala didn’t care me a lot and give me a good service as well. He give me the papers show me finish at 5pm, when calling me at 4:45pm, he said that will be late, and I said ok sure no problem . And after he never called me and told me how long my car can finish! I had been waiting for 7:00pm and call him. His phone no work and he got off work to go home! I spent $477 to make Car maintenance at longo Toyota and get so bad service with this guy, so I decide that I will never ever go here again! Longo Toyota in my black list!
