Brought my car in for 50k service the check engine light was not on. When I picked up my car the receipt says all systems were checked and good order but the check engine light was on. Had the porter take me back to service. The service guy covering for my service writer said it would be $150 more to look at the check engine light. I told him that doesn’t seem to be right. He got a code reader and cleared the code, but said my gas cap was not loose but it must have been sometime in the past. This doesn’t seem right and so I feel I should say something.
