Alex did not give me good customer service. He was sarcastic and I had to ask to speak to a manager. Mr. Melendez undtestood my question that Alex seem not to care to answer. Instead he plainly told me.
"YOU CAN TAKE YOUR CAR. AND I WILL NOT CHARGE YOU ANYTHING". And that was because I asked for clarification for the first quote and service I was given by him.Longo had always gave me excellent customer service and in over 20yrs of going there I never have experience no one like Alex. Firstly, let me say that the employees on Saturday were professional, courteous, friendly, and good examples of Customer Service! This is so hard to find in most businesses. I appreciate it at Longo!
However, I was there because I am having, yet again, an issue with the a/c. For the past five years (both with this lease and my previous lease) I have had numerous times when the a/c and/or the door locks stopped working correctly. i am aware of a known issue about chemicals, and take care not to store them in my car. However, since it is a known issue, I think it should be at the top of the priority list for Toyota engineers to find a way to prevent the electronics in the vehicle from being so susceptible to these things.
I have lost many hours driving to/from Longo, and lost many hours waiting for repairs, and have spent many hours driving in the southern California heat with no a/c.
This really takes away from the generally very positive attitude I have toward Toyota, and Longo specifically.
Please, there must be something that can be done.

When I left my car off I was told that with the engine steam clean it would be done by the detailing group and they would wash my car and dress my tires. When I picked up my car at 5:20 my car had not even been given a basic wash and not the detailed clean and tire cleaning. Not sure if there was a miscommunication between Mandi and I. Otherwise Mandi was great and service was fine.
