I have a civic gx. The service advisor thought it was a hybrid. I corrected him. The computer didn't show him information about the previous service on my car, and he was satisfied to just have me do a minor service. My car is 14 years old, so he has no other way to determine what my car needs done if he doesn't look at what has been done previously. After I asked, he checked when my transmission was serviced. He didn't know about the fuel filters. I asked so he looked into it via Google. I come to Hardin Honda because you service CNG civics, but the service advisor wasn't able to advise. After the service, I looked at the inspection checklist. It said my windshield, wipers, fluid, etc. We're in good condition. I know the wipers are terrible, the sprayer doesn't spray correctly (left side), and the windshield has a crack. If the information on the checklist is meaningless, should I believe that my brakes are ok? How can I trust that the rest of the inspection has been done? Last time I was there, I DIDN'T EVEN GET THE CHECKLIST. Are the technicians doing their jobs? Why doesn't anyone check tire pressure on the spare? Should I check if my wiper fluid has been filled? The service advisor was nice and polite (and he looked up he cost of a new fuel tank, which "should be replaced" in 2018 according to the manual), but the service has deteriorated since I started coming to Hardin 4 years ago. The sales staff wasn't any better. I asked to speak with a salesperson about the clarity. He was busy at about 11am. I asked for someone to come by when he was done, since I was going to be there for another 3 hours. No one came by (they had my name and I was in the waiting room).I asked right before I left but the salesperson was busy again. I'm in the market for a car and was loyal to Honda, but not so much anymore. I went to look at the Bolt after having my car serviced. I have a deposit on a Tesla Model 3. I don't see why I should even consider the Clarity.
