I made an appointment for my car's recall service, however, the wait time to get the service was 4-5 hours. When I checked in, the service provider asked me to wait 30 minutes until he figures out whether or not the service could even be done today.
While I highly appreciate that I still got the service done, I am confused on what is the point of appointments if was treated as a walk-in and did not guarantee the service. I am also disappointed that the provider did not inform me that there is a shuttle service instead of waiting, which I learned later after my appointment.
