I wanna start this off by saying John was very nice, but my experience with South Bay Toyota service was unacceptable, I’ve had an appointment for 215pm I didn’t get there pretty early because I do work down the street and I still had to wait three hours just for oil change, I think the ladies at the counter were all rude, the young guy that took my receipt and ran to the back to go pick up. My car was looking for my car for over 10 to 15 minutes to come back to tell me that he cannot find my car. They lost my car so yes I’m not happy. Very upset. Spoke with your part manager service manager supervisor I believe Rick he was rude to. He did not try to please me my day my evening. I should say with you guys was one of the worst days of my life and I told your supervisor Manager I would not come back to this soft Bay Toyota. I will take my business to Manhattan Beach and maybe I will get the real good service since I’m paying my money so yes, I’m not happy with you guys. Very poor customer service.

Just an overall experience was not as good as ones I had with my usual service manager. (1) Mr. Gomez did not ask me to go over my information so you still have my old contact information, (2) he added a new service contract without asking me and I had to stop him to get a clarification for that, (3) he also told me that the contract is for the next 3 years, but when I checked the term after the service, it said 2 years. I would have waited for a while to renew it, had I known that, and (4) he never came to see me or call to go over the results of the service. It was very business like and cold. In addition, no one was able to tell me when John (my usual service manager) was coming back and blamed on a new GM and a new front lady.

Looking back over my experience on that one day, it was the communication process that upset me. I have a long history with this Toyota dealership but the vehicle I brought in for service was not purchased there. The dealership should first update their records so we are starting at the same point.
