We had new breaks on front and rear as well as the brake fluid changed on January 31,2026. We left the next week for Florida. While we were gone, we noticed a noise every time the brakes were applied. When we got home, I called for an appointment and brought it back. They checked it and found “purple thread” and a rock in the front driver side tire and removed it. They said it was fixed. I started hearing the sound again but this time it was in the rear passenger side. I made an appointment and had to cancel due to a dog being sick and then I thought the sound went away. However, the sound returned and it was so loud that my elderly mother could hear it. I brought it back on Friday, Feb 27- they claimed that there was a residue? on the brake pad. I expressed to my advisor that I was beginning to lose faith in the service department. They claimed to fix it- the sound is still there and is worse than before I brought it. I am beyond frustrated and have totally lost faith in the service department of Toyota Murfreesboro. I don’t know what they have done to my vehicle and I am going to take it to another automotive department to be fixed. I bought the package of several oil changes and so I have to come back for them. After they are used- I plan to use a different automotive service provider in the future.
