When I scheduled my appointment on Friday at 12:17 pm I was quoted $180 for the programming. I was told that without the proper scanner the brake bleed could not be done.
When I dropped my car I was asked if I was quoted. I told them yes, $180. The service tech wrote it up as $189.95. Maybe I misunderstood the extra $9.00 but I was definitely not told the 95 cents.
Two hours after dropping my car I was contacted by your tech and told “I don’t know who quoted you that price but it’s going to be $360.” I’m 30 miles away and I need my car tomorrow so I have no choice but to agree.
I feel I have been extorted. This has been a great car and has taken me 240,000 miles. I would like to buy a new one but this has left me feeling hesitant about your dealership.
