Manager/Supervisor advance in my below comments....
I have been coming here for years and have NEVER had any issues. I called in and asked for an estimated time and price like i always do. They pull up my name in their system and said $33 which is usually the norm for my little car. I took my car in where Brendan assisted and i also presented him with coupon i received in the mail for $29.95 oil change and he said the price was going to be $37. I asked why and he said that's just the cost. I also mentioned the phone call and he said $37 is the price. I didn't want to continue because it sounded like i wasn't going to get anywhere. He even had the nerve to mention the survey and asked for 10's. I called in and asked for a supervisor or manager and was transferred to Joseph. I asked if he was a supervisor or manager and he said there is not one in right now but he could transfer me to someone lower if i liked. I told him about the issue and he said he would see what he could do.
My questions were:
Why was the phone quote $33 not valid?
Why am i getting these coupons via mail if they are not valid?
This was frustrating when he was unable to answer this nor was there a manager or supervisor available. He did say he would see what he could do so i figured that would work.
I came in to pay for my oil change and it was right over $39. I mentioned my conversation with Joseph and they called him. He said the best he could do was take $3 off. So i ended up paying a little over $37. This was very frustrating and i really do not think i should continue to get coupons by mail if they are NOT going to be honored and there should really be a manager or supervisor available at all times. This was my place to go to buy cars and for maintenance. I guess i need to stat looking elsewhere. Being a valid customer no longer has meaning here. I understand it was only a few dollars different but it was more of the feeling i got during this experience.
